So, I turned twenty seven last Wednesday. Since I'm away from my family and friends it was pretty non-eventful. Lots of Facebook greetings, a couple of Twitter messages, the usual social media stuff. I didn't feel like going out to celebrate either since it was the middle of the week. So we stayed home. Oh, and baked myself a birthday cake and a pizza for my birthday dinner!
We don't have an oven at home because it was submerged in flood during typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana). You really never know what you have until it's gone. I never had the urge to bake anything while we still had an oven, but now the lack of it makes me want to bake so much!
