Throwback Thursdays: Concerts

Yes, yes, I'm jumping on the bandwagon and posting a Throwback Thursday entry. The idea of Throwback Thursday is to post a photo from a long time ago and post it in social media websites. Seeing people posting "old" photos inspired me to look into my archive of photos. I decided to compile photos taken from concerts I've been to.

The first real concert I ever went to was 98 Degrees' concert (I can't remember what year), which I watched my sisters. We were giggly little girls and threw a tiny teddy bear onto the stage haha! I am a 90's kid and I grew up loving and fangirling over boy bands and arguing with friends about who gets to be which Spice girl. Ahh, memories.

It took some years after until I got to watch another concert of a foreign artist. I was in college and paid for my own ticket. Independence! Haha! It was the first Incubus concert in Manila and I got to watch it with Eula and Bebang back in 2004.

We had a lot of pictures but I am not posting the others since we looked so...unpresentable.

Five months later we also went to watch the Hoobastank concert. No decent photos, though, sorry.

Incubus came back four years later and had another concert in Manila. Of course, we had to watch them again. Bebang couldn't make it, but Set and my sister were there with us.
Set, Eula, my sister, and me!
Another photo, but with our high school batch mate, who we saw at the concert
We also went to the Lifehouse concert a few months later.

In 2009 I got to watch Sugarfree's 10-year anniversary concert, Dekada. They performed with a live orchestra. It was pretty awesome hearing "Telepono" and "Mariposa" live with orchestral accompaniment.
Our friend had connections and we were able to have a quick chat with Ebe and have a picture taken with him after the concert.
So, that concludes my concert reminiscing and my first Throwback Thursday post. Other concerts I've watched were too recent to really be considered as "throwback".

How about you, what are your memorable concert experiences?
