Western Oz Adventures: Vegemite for Noobs

Vegemite is a popular Australian food spread made from yeast extract. I think I only know about it from the different travel shows I've seen. Other than knowing that it's an Australian thing I didn't know anything much about Vegemite until the day I decided I would try it.

Western Oz Adventures: First Fridate

Last Friday Jex took me out for dinner and to explore the Northbridge area. The last time I visited Perth I only stayed for two weeks and my exploration of the city was limited to the central business district, where we were staying. If you go on Tripadvisor and look up Northbridge it will say that it's "Perth's cultural and entertainment center" and you'll see a lot of negative reviews about the neighborhood. Well, as an area known for its night life, I didn't really expect much.

Hello Again, Oz - An Instagram Update

I'm back in Perth with Jex again. I've been looking forward to this trip with Jex because we'll be here for more than a month! Last time I only stayed for two weeks. I also get to spend my birthday with Jex, unlike last year.

Another exciting bit (well, for me anyway) is that I'll get to experience Perth winter. We've had oven weather in Manila for months now and I'd really like to escape to some cold weather. Wish granted! The night morning midnight we arrived it was 2.6°C!
