C is for Cookie, That's Good Enough for Me

I have this weird affinity for cookie or cookies & cream drinks. I'm not addicted to them, but the idea of a cookie or cookies & cream drink just sounds so good to me. I like KFC's cookies & cream Krushers. Though, some branches don't put enough cookies & cream chunks when they make the drink.

When I read about Starbucks' new Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino I knew I had to try it. And this afternoon I did!

I think the drink comes with flavored whipped cream, but I'm not sure it has any effect or impact to the overall taste of the drink. The drink is also topped with crushed chocolate cookies. At first sip the drink tastes pretty good. The taste of mocha isn't overpowering and the drink itself isn't too sweet. It also comes with some java chips, which adds the "cookie" texture to the drink. Overall, the drink is pretty good, something I'd probably order again if ever I go to Starbucks, but not really crave for. For me, I think it doesn't have enough of a "cookie crumble" effect to it. Maybe more java chips will do the trick, or maybe that's just me because I like nibbling on Starbucks' java chips. But, still, it's pretty good.
Starbucks also has an ongoing promo to promote (duh) their newest drink. Each purchase of a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino gets you one scratch card. The scratch card will let you win several prizes. Scratching the scratch card reveals one of 4 prizes you can win. Two of the prizes are "Free Add-on" and "Free Upsize". I'm not sure of the other 2 because I wasn't paying attention when the barista was discussing it haha. You can use your prize on your next purchase.

If I get a free add-on card, I'd add more java chips to my next cookie crumble frap order.

Cookie! Omnomnomnom!
