Hello, Again, Holiday Drinks

The nights are getting longer and air feels cooler. As soon as the "ber" months start malls and other establishments in the Philippines already play Christmas songs. I usually dread the Christmas traffic but I look forward to all the sales.

Another thing I look forward to are holiday drinks. I've blogged about them before and I'm blogging about them again because of what I received in my email last week.

I think Starbucks was first in the holiday drinks scene among the different coffee chains in the Philippines. Their red cups and stamp cards have a cult following, which I was part of once or twice. I do, however, prefer CBTL over Starbucks. And when they came out with their Red Velvet holiday drink it made me love them even more.

CBTL posted a teaser last week about a new holiday drink. Spices? Tea? Sounds like chai to me (I rhymed!) But they already have that on their regular menu, so I guess it's something else. Though, I may also be misinterpreting the poster and there might not really be a new drink. Either way it has piqued my interest and I will be watching out for this.
