Semi-rant Post

Stress levels are like woah since last week. I have two weeks left until my leave starts for the wedding and both weeks are already full of stuff for work. I am not as worried on the wedding stuff since we're more or less set already (I think) with only some details to finalize.

Funny, though, both Jex and I will be paneling for project defenses a week before our wedding. It's, honestly, a welcome break from real world work. I look forward to telling students that their problems can be solved by the all powerful MS Excel.

Turning Point?

Warning: Vague post ahead

Heard some pretty big news last Wednesday. As much as the news should usually be upsetting for most people, I was surprised as to how...excited I was to hear it. I guess I'm seeing it as more of an opportunity than a problem.

Details aren't definite yet, but we'll find out more around the end of this month. It's been a long time and this is probably the nudge I need to change things up.

Hoping for the best and keeping fingers crossed. =)
